It is finally Friday - boy was I in need of it! And if my sweet fiance wasn't en route to VA now, I'd spend my weekend doing this:
But, Logan should be here around 7 - right after I pick up our wedding invitations!
Tomorrow, we're headed to the Poplar Forest Craft Beer Tasting and the weather should be perfection!
Sunday I have to work and Logan will return to GA for the inevitable start of Ranger School, but at least we got one more visit worked into our schedules :) Thank heavens he didn't have to staff the Best Ranger competition this weekend!
I hope everyone has a good break!

130 Days to the Wedding!
But, now I'm back, and it's pedal to the metal!
The wedding is only (ONLY!) 130 days away and there is so much to do. For example:
- The earrings I bought for the bridesmaids should ship any day now. I settled on the Delphie Stone Studs from Stella & Dot:
- My wedding dress is in and I go in to try it on and pick it up today. I'm a little miffed because when I ordered it they told me they'd hold it for as long as I need, but now they're changing their tune. Additionally, my dress was 2 weeks late coming in, and I've heard nothing but awful things about the tailor they employ. Oy. But, at least it's here and I can take it to our family tailor and hopefully alterations won't take too long and I can get my bridal portraits scheduled!
- I pick up my wedding invites on Friday and am so happy with they way they turned out - I recommend Leen Jean if you're in the central Virginia area - she's great to work with and competitively priced! Plus, who doesn't love supporting local business?
- I reserved mine and Logan's room for the night of the wedding at the Craddock Terry Hotel in Lynchburg. I'm so happy THAT is done!
I know everyone says to savor these months, that you'll never be engaged again, but with the move, work transitions, and wrapping up grad school I just can't wait for August to get here! I can't wait to settle into married life with Logan and start our life together.
Any other pre-wedding advice? It's all welcome!
